We woke up and had breakfast at the hotel and then headed out for our adventure to the Cliffs of Moher. There was still ice on the road so we had to be extra careful driving. The ride to the cliffs was absolutely GORGEOUS! We drove through so many small villages and open pastures. We even saw a rainbow! I decided not to stop and take any pictures because I was concerned about the rain starting back up. That was my biggest mistake on the trip because our GPS took us a different way back along the coastline and it was nothing compared to our trip to the cliffs. I'm still pretty bummed about it!
The breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. Click here if you'd like to read a little more about the cliffs. The wind was blowing like crazy and it was extremely cold. But, it was amazing to look upon such a natural wonder.
David thought this "ninja" look was really funny...
O'Brien's Tower built in 1835. Click here if you'd like to read more about it.
View from the top of the tower.
I think the view had an effect on Ryan and John because they were all lovey-dovey...
It was COLD! It didn't help that Ryan was completely underdressed.
The view adjacent to the cliffs. It was so nice to be in the country and just enjoy the view.
After the cliffs we met some fellow travelers from the wedding party, Jeff and Carrie, for lunch in the town of Doolin.
