After the tour bus dropped us off from seeing Terezin we started to walk back to the hotel to rest a bit before we went to dinner that night. But, I started seeing things that I wanted to take pictures of so Ryan and John headed back and my sweet husband stayed with me. The sun went down and I had a hard time staying still to take the pictures, but I tried!
I was just checking the light and "shot from the hip" and I ended up really liking this picture! :-)
One of the towers in the city. On our ride into the city from the airport our driver took us through and we were in total awe!
The Christmas Market was still going on and there were vendors selling items. I got an original oil painting and an original watercolor. I was super happy!
This is a traditional Czech treat. It was so yummy!
Notice how fuzzy David got?? We couldn't get our converter to work with any of our electrical units and so David couldn't trim the his beard and I had horrible hair!
Marionette dolls were all over Prague. These are some of the cheaper ones.
Live medieval music.
Tyn Church
I took pictures of random buildings
The Astronomical clock. It goes off every hour. We planned on coming back during the day to see it.
Another view of Tyn Church
The National Museum. This was right by our hotel.
Can you find David?
This is the McDonald's we ate at our very first night.
The Czech beer of choice
Our hotel. How I loved the heated bathroom floors, towel warmer, and bidet.
While the 3 of them were out one night a local recommended this restaurant. They didn't have a Czech menu so we gave the waiter our meat of choice and he brought us out a meal.
Mine was all pork. A tenderloin, ham, and sausage with dumplings, potato cakes, and cabbage. It was to die for! Once again I had the best meal at the table! They all had entree envy!
Interesting art work in the restaurant. And people had their dogs in there as well.
I had to put my hair up every night because of the hat hair :-)
The wait staff were a lot of fun!
Even the man hole covers were beautifl!
Charles Bridge at night *sigh*
Prague Castle. We were headed here in the morning.
Snowing!
Detail on the entrance to the bridge
View from the bridge
As we were walking across the bridge a man was out playing glasses. Here he was playing "Stairway to Heaven" He was amazing!
Towers on the other side of the bridge
Working water wheel for the mill inside
As usual they took me back to the room and they headed out for a night on the town.
