4th of July

Our fun-filled weekend continues.  We decided to go to Callaway Gardens for an overnight trip to celebrate 4th of July.

Reese had a great time at the beach/lake.  I sat my pregnant self down on a lawn chair and tried not to move!

Dinner that night took forever and she was very restless at the table.  So, I took her outside to play in the water.

Unfortunately the fireworks that we went to that night were absolutely horrible.  They were so bad that Callaway did a free show that next week.  The drive is too long for us so we just had to deal with not seeing any fireworks this 4th.  We do plan on going back next year....with a new baby.  EEK!

The next day we decided to explore the different areas of the gardens.  I realized at this vegetable garden that my child is a city girl.  She had no idea what a lot of these vegetables were when they were on the vine.  I do miss the days of going to my Nanny and Paw-Paw's to harvest the garden.  Those were the days!!  Reese will never experience anything like that.
